Choosing an orchard for an engagement pictures is one of my favorite locations and we were looking forward to this for a long time! I’ve known Kari and Eric since before they started dating and getting to watch their relationship unfold has been so great! When you see two people that just “get” each other and are perfectly complimentary to each other it’s easy to see that they were made to be together. This orchard and river session was so relaxed and enjoyable with the gorgeous spring weather and perfect backdrop to their love story. Hearing someone’s story versus actually seeing it come together is not something I get to witness with every couple that I work with so this one just seems even more special!
When Kyle and I moved from Spokane to Brewster one of the pieces that instantly attracted me was the agriculture. I didn’t grow up around orchards but they fascinated me (and still do). I love every single season with them and am constantly asking anyone who works with them questions! Since orchards are such a key piece to this community, even though Kari and Eric are teachers like Kyle I wanted to include that setting because it really is part of their story.
Their wedding is in July and even though the world has a lot of chaos I’m holding out hope that this summer will be even more meaningful based on the quarantine life that so many of us are in right now. Not getting to be around each other or see each other can make things much more difficult but it also makes me so excited for the weddings this year since I know what it feels like right now to not be able to join together for celebration. I can’t wait for these two to get to experience that!
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m her mom but omg breath taking picture Tiffany. Thank you for taking the time to not only write this blog but to put you heart ❤️ into to taking these pictures: I love each one of them all. (Would like a copy of your blog so I can put it in their album)
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed seeing them! She has the link to the whole gallery so you can see more!
The first time I saw Eric and Kari talking, before they were dating, I thought 🤔 hmm they would look good as a couple. Wasn’t I right? I think any of Kari’s friends thought that when they would see them together. I’m so thankful God brought them together. Bob and I love Kari as one of our own. She grew up in our house and play sports with our daughter. Graduated with NYC. They all remain the best of friends. Coaching her and coaching beside her has been such a journey. She has brought us so much joy! Welcome to the family Eric. Can’t wait to play volleyball and pickleball again. Eric, you are an incredible man and I love watching you look at Kari with so much love! Congratulations to this wonderful couple. So excited to watch you grow together.
With all my love,
Foyle (Alisia )
I agree! They are so great together and it’s been so fun getting to know them!
