This story started several years ago on October 3rd, when Trey asked Sam to be his girlfriend. Over the next several years they continued their relationship, even with long distance for part of it. Though they talked about marriage, when Covid came it changed their engagement/wedding plans. But finally, last October on their dating anniversary, Trey planned the big event and asked Sam to marry him to which she happily agreed!
Throughout the time they were planning their wedding, state requirements kept changing and made it difficult to know exactly how many people were going to be able to attend or what their wedding day would look like, but they kept working at it and had the most beautiful celebration of their relationship and new marriage. It was such an incredible pleasure to get to be a part of their special day and I hope you enjoy getting a peek of it!
I always love it when wedding accessories have a story and the lovely vintage earrings that Sam wore were her grandmother’s. This was even more meaningful on this day because her grandma passed away shortly before the wedding. Samantha was able to include her memory the entire day and I’m sure her grandma would have been so proud of her if she could have been present.

Samantha looked radiant in a gorgeous tulle dress with lace appliqué. One thing I learned about tulle during the day was that if it rains on your wedding day and you end up getting a little wet, (because we, of course, had to showcase some of the stunning tree covered property at Trinity Tree Farm) it doesn’t show anything on the dress! I’m so glad that a little rain didn’t even phase these two!
